A fancy coat
The Mamajacket protects you and your baby from wind, rain, and snow. Under this warm coat your baby is very close to you and you can always sense how he is doing and what he needs.
Your baby is enclosed by an insert that easily zips into your coat in front or back. You can wear your coat no matter if you are carrying your baby in front or on the back. This insert for the baby has a separate opening for baby’s head and is stretchable so even bigger kids feel comfortable. It is also washable by hand in lukewarm water. As long as your baby is very small and can not hold his head up yet, or when he is asleep, you can simply fold the insert downward instead of using the head opening.
The only difference between the Mamajacket and a conventional coat is a hidden zipper on the back. There are also two inserts available, one for pregnancy and one for carrying a baby (the insert for carrying a baby is included in delivery). Both inserts come with a conventional zipper which can be attached to the jacket’s zipper. You can also attach the insert for your baby with the zipper on the back when you want to carry your child on your back. In no time at all you can convert the Mamajacket back into a conventional coat by simply opening two zippers.
The jacket offers protection for you and your little one against cold, wind, rain, and snow. The outer wool shell as well as the viscose lining give you and your child a comfortable climate. Because wool regulates the heat well the coat can be worn on cool and rainy days in the spring and fall but also during the cold winter season.
The jacket is designed to be used with a baby sling or any other carrying device for carrying the baby in front or on your back.
